Distributed Enterprise Platform
Academic microservices platform I led architecture for — orchestration/choreography patterns, stream+batch pipelines, and a full DevOps stack.
As Project Lead, I authored the team's platform task breakdown and owned the overall system architecture for a resilient 5-repo microservices ecosystem combining orchestration and choreography communication patterns, scaling edge data ingestion via an EMQX broker and an Apache Kafka event bus.
I engineered high-throughput stream and batch data-processing pipelines using Apache Flink, Apache Spark, and Apache Airflow, integrating application-layer microservices powered by Google OR-Tools for route optimization. Production infrastructure ran on DigitalOcean Kubernetes (DOKS), provisioned with Terraform and deployed via ArgoCD, secured by an Istio service mesh, Kong API Gateway, and Keycloak for IAM and traffic management.
